I’ve spent well over a decade working with dogs and cats — first as a dog walker in California, where I began noticing patterns in animal behavior that sparked my interest in dog training. That curiosity grew into years of hands-on work with pets of all personalities — from social butterfly pups and shy cats to those with bigger feelings — and led me to become a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant.
When I moved to Oregon, I knew I wanted to continue supporting animals in a meaningful way. Today, dog training and behavior support are at the core of my work, helping guardians build calmer, more manageable lives with their dogs. My in-home pet sitting and Sit & Train services grew naturally from that foundation — allowing dogs to receive consistent, training-informed care even when their people are away.
When I’m not working with clients’ pets, you can usually find me exploring Oregon’s trails with my cattle-dog mix, Fern, or relaxing at home with my husband, Josh, and our cat, Fig.
